DENVER (KDVR) -- A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in an intersection in Fort Collins on Sunday afternoon.Fort Collins Police Department responded to the crash at approximately 12:33 p.m. and found a motorcycle rider with life-threatening injuries, according to a press release. 4 juveniles in custody after crash following armed robbery, chase The rider was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.It happened at the intersection of Lemay Avenue and Commanche Drive. The investigation found that three motorcycles were riding southbound on Lemay Avenue when the driver of a Toyota Camry, headed northbound on the same street, turned left to go westbound on Commanche Drive, according to the press release.One of the southbound motorcycles crashed into the passenger side of the Camry, and that rider died.The factors that led up to the crash are still being investigated by the Fort Collins Police Collision Reconstruction and Scene Handling Team.In the meantime, Sgt. Police are investigating a reported robbery aboard a yacht along the Miami River.7News cameras captured a heavy police presence and several City of Miami Police cruisers with their lights on parked in the area of Southwest North River Drive and Second Street, near The Wharf Miami, just after 10 p.m., Sunday.The owner of the yacht said they chartered the vessel earlier in the day, and between 13 and 17 people were on board.When it came time to bring the yacht back to its proper dock, the owner said, the people who chartered the yacht paid, but they later held the captain of the boat at gunpoint and demanded their money back.Thankfully, the boat’s owner said, no one was hurt, adding that another crew member had a cellphone and was able to text for help.While the yacht is currently docked near The Wharf, the venue has nothing to do with the incident.A 7News crew saw police officers going on and off the yacht, as they continue to investigate. State police are assisting in the search for a missing paddleboarder on Martha’s Vineyard on Sunday.The search is unfolding on Edgartown Great Pond.At 7:46 p.m, Martha’s Vineyard police and fire agencies responded to Great Pond in the vicinity of Turkeyland Cove for a call for a male paddleboarder who had gone into the water, appeared to briefly struggle to stay on the surface, and then submerged and did not resurface, police said.The paddleboarder is a 43-year-old man. Another paddleboarder was on the pond with him at the time and saw him go under the water.
