A Randolph man died in a crash in Norton early Saturday morning when his car rear-ended another vehicle, flipped over and caught fire, according to the Massachusetts State Police.Jeffrey Tagger, 52, was found dead at the scene of the crash around 2:30 a.m. Saturday after the Norton Fire Department extinguished the car fire. Tagger was heading northbound on Route 495 when he lost control of his Nissan Maxima after hitting a Toyota RAV 4 which was traveling in front of him. The Toyota swerved left and hit the guardrail, while Tagger’s Nissan rolled over off the road and caught fire. (CNN) — Russia unleashed what is believed to have been the deadliest attack on Ukrainian civilians in months on Friday, killing at least 23 people in an early-morning missile strike on an apartment block in the city of Uman.The attack, which drew international condemnation, came around 4 a.m. local time, when a barrage of long-range cruise missiles was launched from Russian aircraft in the Caspian Sea area, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. SAN DIEGO -- Yet another earthquake shook an area near San Diego County on Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck near Niland, California in Imperial County at 12:09 a.m., USGS data shows. This area is east of Ocotillo Wells and just east of the Salton Sea. NWS says San Diego is in the peak of marine layer season, but why? The quake occurred at a depth of about 5 miles, sending shockwaves that could be felt for many miles, according to USGS.
