Moraga murder-suicide victim identified (KRON) -- A Moraga husband and wife who died in a suspected murder-suicide were identified on Friday. Moraga Police Chief Jon King said the deceased couple was identified as Brad Triebsch, 60, and Rebekah Triebsch, 59.Autopsies conducted on Thursday by the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office concluded that the Triebsch's deaths were caused by gunshot wounds. Investigators did not say who killed who.Officers found Brad and Rebekah Triebsch's bodies shortly before 5 p.m. on January 3 inside their home on Southard Court, King said. Officers had been alerted by someone who said they were unable to contact their parents. A neighbor also notified police that they were concerned for the couple's wellbeing. US 287 reopens after 2 crashes, 1 deadly, in Boulder County DENVER (KDVR) -- U.S. Highway 287 was closed in both directions Friday due to two separate crashes in Boulder County, according to Mountain View Fire Rescue. A Larimer County deputy was reportedly involved in one of the crashes. One crash happened just north of Yellowstone Road near mile marker 322, between Longmont and Berthoud. Firefighters reported seeing a column of smoke coming from a crash involving two pickup trucks. There was a person trapped who had to be extricated. Both drivers died at the scene, according to Berthoud Fire.Berthoud Fire told FOX31 reporter Vicente Arenas that the two pickup trucks crashed head-on into each other at about 8:37 a.m., and one of the trucks caught on fire, and the individual who was extricated was in the vehicle that was not ablaze.Arenas learned that both drivers were killed.The scene of a crash on US 287 on Jan. 5, 2024.
