Maribel Gomez Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash on Hesperian Boulevard [Hayward, CA] Pickup Versus Sedan Collision near Industrial Boulevard Kills 39-Year-Old Female PassengerHAYWARD, CA (October 13, 2023) – Monday night, Maribel Gomez was killed and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Hesperian Boulevard.Police responded to the collision on October 9th, at around 8:53 p.m., in the area of Hesperian and Industrial Boulevards.Upon arrival, officers learned that a pickup truck collided with a sedan. However, the cause of the crash remains unknown.The first responders transported a female passenger of the sedan to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The coroner’s office later identified the deceased woman as Maribel Gomez of Hayward.Meanwhile, the 36-year-old male sedan driver was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. The shoes from the film were stolen in 2005 from the Judy Garland Museum in the late actor’s hometown of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and recovered in 2018 by the FBI.
