FDA warns consumers to stop using dozens of over-the-counter eye drops (WHTM) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is urging consumers to stop using 26 over-the-counter eye drop products from multiple major brands due to the risk of eye infections that may lead to vision loss or blindness.The FDA first posted the warning Friday, explaining that officials had already urged the manufacturer to recall the affected products days before. The move came "after agency investigators found insanitary conditions in the manufacturing facility and positive bacterial test results from environmental sampling of critical drug production areas in the facility," the FDA wrote. IDOT: New ramp closures on Kennedy Expressway to begin Tuesday CHICAGO — New ramp closures are coming to the inbound Kennedy Expressway as part of the ongoing rehabilitation project.The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that the closures were to begin Monday, October 30 — weather permitting. Due to weather, the Division Street ramp to the inbound Kennedy was postponed. The ramp will be closed by 6 a.m. Tuesday. According to IDOT, the closures are needed to accommodate ongoing bridge rehabilitation and ramp repairs. She’s up to her old tricks with some retro recipes.Need: 6 medium bananas1/4 cup lemon juice6 thin slices boiled ham (about 1/2 lb)3 tablespoons prepared mustard2 envelopes (1 1/4-oz size) hollandaise sauce mix1/4 cup light cream1. Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly butter 2-quart, shallow baking dish.2. Peel bananas; sprinkle each with 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice, to prevent darkening.3. Spread ham slices with mustard. Wrap each banana in slice of ham. Arrange in single layer in casserole. Bake 10 minutes.4. WATCH: Diver waves to manatee in close encounter HOLMES BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) -- When diver James Preslick saw a dark, shadowy figure moving closer towards him in the water Sunday morning, it turned out to be something he didn't expect."I expected a shark or stingray, but not a manatee this time of the year," Preslick told Nexstar's WFLA. While diving off Florida's Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island around 11 a.m., Preslick was greeted by the curious manatee. The encounter was captured by Preslick, who could be seen waving at the manatee once he realized what sea creature it was.
