(NEXSTAR) — You can probably name some of the richest people in the country: Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett. But do you know the wealthiest person in your state?Unless you have a few billion dollars lying around, it likely isn’t you. Every year, Forbes releases a list of the 400 wealthiest people in the U.S. This includes those who have garnered their wealth through investments, software, sports, retail, real estate, family ties, and food. The 2023 list includes some notable firsts. Michael Jordan, for instance, is the first professional athlete to land on the Forbes 400. His off-the-court income, namely from his deals with Nike and the sale of his stake in the Charlotte Hornets, propelled him onto this year’s list. Another newcomer is Josh Kushner, the son of real estate developer Charles Kushner and brother of Jared Kushner. GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) -- On Tuesday, the Georgetown Police Department released a sketch of a man accused of attempting to abduct a child from their home last month in Georgetown.In a news release Tuesday, police provided a sketch, as well as a description of what the man could looked like the day the attempted abduction occurred on Sept. 18. The man knocked on the door of the home, and a 9-year-old answered it. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- As the Pedernales Electric Cooperative celebrates its 85th anniversary, it's sharing the celebratory love with some Texas Hill Country residents also turning the big 8-5.PEC is hosting birthday parties alongside its customers also turning 85 this year, according to a news release. ST. LOUIS - Officials say a training flight ended with a "hard helicopter landing" Monday at the St. Louis Downtown Airport. Officials did not report any injuries from the incident and say the pilot who experienced the hard landing declined medical attention. Sandra Shore, Director at St. Louis Downtown Airport, noted that the aircraft suffered an undisclosed amount of damage after the hard landing. Airport officials have notified the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) to review what led up to the incident. ST. LOUIS -- Pi Pizzeria's Central West End location was robbed Monday night. The armed suspect surprised an employee while she was counting the cash from that evening's sales.Officers were called to the 400 block of North Euclid at around 9 p.m. to check on a hold-up. An employee told them that she was counting the tills when a man wearing all black, including a mask, suddenly appeared in the back office with her. He threw a black bag on the ground, pointed a gun at her, and then motioned to put the money in the bag. Dispute over noose outside St. Charles County home The employee did what the robber wanted her to do. He then left the building through the rear door.The police have not yet released a more detailed description of the suspect. Thornton police have arrested one man in connection with a fatal stabbing in the area of West 84th Avenue on Monday night.Officers responded to the area of 160 W. 84th Ave. at 7:38 p.m. and found a man who had been stabbed multiple times, according to a news release from the Thornton Police Department.The man was transported to a local hospital, where he died.Thornton PD investigating the stabbing of an adult male on W 84th Ave between Acoma St and Conifer Rd.
