Denver police seek information in deadly Gaylord Street shooting DENVER (KDVR) -- The Denver Police Department is now investigating a shooting that happened Thursday as a homicide.DPD said officers were investigating a shooting in the 800 block of Gaylord Street Thursday evening. Federal grand jury indicts 2 women in $14M fraud scheme Police said one victim was found and, at the time, the extent of the victim's injuries was unknown. Police were working to develop suspect information Thursday evening.Just before 1 p.m. Friday, DPD provided an update and said the victim, a man, had died of his injuries. With that announcement, police said the incident is now being investigated as a homicide.Police are still working to develop suspect information.Now, police are asking anyone with information to call the Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.

Woman hit by RTD light rail in Thornton DENVER (KDVR) -- One woman was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries Friday after being struck by a light rail train.According to the Thornton Police Department, the crash happened near East 97th Avenue and Welby Road. He had a 295-248 record over four seasons with the Giants, but his only year guiding the team to a winning record was 2021, when San Francisco won a franchise-record 107 games and the NL West title.San Francisco lost in the NL Division Series that year in five games to Los Angeles, then went 81-81 last year. Surveillance video shows tractor-trailer crashing into parked car in South Boston A destructive drive was recently caught on camera in South Boston as surveillance video showed a tractor-trailer turning down a street and crashing into a parked car. The crash happened in the area of East Fourth Street and G Street in South Boston just before 6 a.m. Thursday. After investigating, police said at least two other cars appeared to have been hit by the same truck just a two blocks from the initial crash site. “It definitely seemed like it was something very, very astonishing for the block,” said neighbor Sandy Perez. “We get some noise around here but never something that loud.” In home security video, the truck can be seen driving the wrong way down G Street before turning right onto East Fourth Street. Hull man arrested after allegedly ramming two Quincy PD vehicles with stolen van, attempting to hide at ski area A man from Hull is facing multiple charges after police say he allegedly fled from officers in a stolen work van, crashing into multiple vehicles in the process before driving off and attempting to hide at a ski area.Steven Ford, 49, pleaded not guilty in court on Friday, a day after his arrest.
