Happy Thursday, South Florida!Hopefully everyone has been able to dry out after seeing heavy rain and strong thunderstorms earlier in the week. The rainy season in South Florida doesn’t officially begin until May 15, however, the last three weeks across our area have felt as if it were already in full force. And after starting off the week with soggy conditions, South Florida finally saw relief from the rain earlier today. Beautiful blue skies and lower rain chances allowed our afternoon high temperatures to reach the upper 80s and low 90s. These are temperatures that are more typical of Summer!I have good news for South Florida tonight! Mainly dry conditions will continue through the evening and overnight as we round out the work week. Unfortunately, though, this brief break in the rain looks to be short-lived, as thunderstorms are in the forecast once again on Friday. As we have seen earlier in the week, most of the day looks to remain quiet and steamy with afternoon high tempera...ATF leading investigation after two explosions in Weare, NH

His was one of more than two dozen ceremonial roles announced Thursday by Buckingham Palace as organizers seek to ground the coronation in tradition while also ensuring that it reflects modern Britain. While the first Champion earned his role through long service to the king, Dymoke filled out an online form, explaining his family’s historic role in the coronation, then waited for government bureaucrats to review his claim. Thursday’s announcement means he will be the 34th member of his family to take part in a coronation.“This is the one mo...Nice Friday, showers return this weekend

The discovery was made on April 25, 14 years to the day after the 16-year-old was killed.Chantel Matiyosus was leaving a baby shower in Brockton in 2009 when police say she was a victim of gang violence. Matiyosus’s older sister and other family members marked the anniversary by coming to Calvary Cemetery in Brockton, but when they arrived, they found her gravestone defaced.“It looked like someone took a gallon of paint and literally came over here and just spilled it. It was covered, drips,” Tiffany Andrade, her older sister, said. “As long as I have a breath in me, I am going to keep Chantel’s name alive.”Andrade says she walked through the graveyard to see if any other vandalism had taken place but found none. “Why? I can’t even say I was angry. I was more confused. I was like ‘why is this happening all over again? Is this a sign someone is sending to us?”The family imme...Lamar Jackson deal instant analysis: Reactions to Ravens’ 5-year pact with star QB

But it seems Jalen Hurts’ recent $255 million deal with the Eagles gave the Ravens a target to beat, and their move to sign wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. did not hurt.
