EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) - Colorado is a very popular destination for camping in the spring, summer and fall. But what about winter? Right in the middle of a frigid Colorado winter people will still camp out. It's called extreme winter camping, and the landscape can be cold and downright dangerous to your health. WATKINS, Colo. (KDVR) -- O'Malley's Mercantile is a mom-and-pop retail store that just celebrated 44 years of being in business. The COVID lockdowns almost ended that, but it hung on and is now on the mend.It was 44 years ago, almost to the day, when Kathleen and Mike O'Malley opened the doors to their modest feed store, Watkins Feed and Supply.In 2001, they officially changed the name to O'Malley's. (AP) — Oregon will temporarily suspend rebates for buying or leasing an electric vehicle for a year starting in May because too many people are applying and the program is running out of money, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported Thursday.A growing number of Oregonians are buying or leasing electric vehicles, with over 60,600 registered in the state.The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality announced Wednesday the suspension of the Clean Vehicle Rebate Program that has disbursed more than $71 million over five years to help people buy or lease roughly 25,000 of those vehicles.
