SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Charges will be dropped against the man accused of striking former San Francisco Fire Commissioner Don Carmignani with a metal pipe, Carmignani told KRON4. Carmignani, 53, was struck in the Marina District on April 5, resulting in hospitalization and surgery.Garret Allen Doty, 24, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery with serious bodily injury, and assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury for the incident. A woman is in the hospital after her car fell down a ravine in Rock Creek Park Tuesday afternoon.D.C. Fire and EMS said the car left the road around 5 p.m. on Piney Branch Parkway — east of Beach Drive in Northwest D.C.Update crash with entrapment Piney Branch Parkway NW. KEENESBURG, Colo. (KDVR) — A storm chaser captured an image of a local landspout on the Eastern Plains. Jennifer Walton started the initiative Girls Who Chase in January 2022. The Broomfield woman said she has been storm chasing for about seven years. On Tuesday afternoon, she said, she predicted what she would see.“I knew it was a landspout, because you can tell from the behavior of the clouds above it, and what is going on," Walton said. Elevation is the main reason Denver won’t see snow.
