Occupant escapes house fire in south St. Louis City ST. LOUIS - Emergency crews are responding to a house fire in south St. Louis on Wednesday morning. Our Nissan Rogue Runner reporter, Nic Lopez, captured footage of the scene on the 6400 block of Idaho Avenue, where the two-story home saw the heavy fire begin on the first floor, eventually spreading to the second floor, causing the roof to collapse. Surveillance cameras capture dramatic images of Central West End attack The single occupant of the home escaped from the building safely. The cause of the fire is still unknown. FOX 2 will update this story with more information as it becomes available.

People who buy a new or used all-electric car from an Illinois-licensed dealer and apply within 90 days will be eligible for a $4,000 rebate.
