LATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has opened another location in the Capital Region. The new restaurant is at 753 Loudon Road in Latham, at the former Boston Market location. This comes after the Chick-fil-A's in Clifton Park and North Greenbush had their opening on Thursday.The Popeyes menu includes chicken sandwiches, tenders, and nuggets, seafood, sides, and desserts. ST. LOUIS - A homicide investigation is underway after one man was killed and another was hurt in a shooting Thursday in north St. Louis. St. Louis police say a 52-year-old man died, and a 29-year-old man was hurt. Neither of the victims have been identified, and no suspect information is available. The shooting happened around 5 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Shawmut Place in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood. Protests over Francis Howell plan to allow anti-racism resolution to expire It's unclear what led up to the shooting, but police found the 52-year-old inside a home with a gunshot to his arm and the 29-year-old outside a home with a gunshot wound to his leg. The 52-year-old died from his injuries. Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are handling the investigation. Hundreds attended a heated Chino Valley school board meeting as a controversial policy requiring parental notification of transgender children passed with a 4-1 vote.The policy requires staff to notify all parents in writing within three days after a student requests to identify with a gender different than what is on their birth certificate, according to Chino Valley Unified School District.The notification also applies to students who request a pronoun change or to be called a different name that is not listed on official school records. Ryan Barnes and Three Others Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 90CLE ELUM, WA (July 21, 2023) – Wednesday morning, Ryan Barnes, Brooke Barnes, Debra Wyman, and Diane Mroz were injured in a car crash on Interstate 90.The initial crash happened before noon, near exit 84.According to reports, Ryan Barnes rear-ended a car that was slowing down in front of his vehicle.
