An 8-week-old pit bull apparently overdosed on fentanyl, Irvine police said, but they were able to revive her with Narcan.The puppy was found Sept. 6 inside a car in a Walmart parking lot. The couple in the car – a 29-year-old San Juan Capistrano man and a 27-year-old Santa Ana woman – subsequently were arrested on suspicion of narcotics possession.Officers said they initially saw paraphernalia and narcotics, including an open container of fentanyl, in the car.The pup appeared lethargic, closing her eyes and panting with her tongue sticking out, Irvine Police Sgt. Karie Davies said.Irvine police said they revived a pit bull puppy that apparently had overdosed on fentanyl last week. A man and woman were arrested on suspicion of drug possession. Thieves armed with hammers smashed glass cases and grabbed about $20,000 worth of perfume inside the Macy’s at Northridge Fashion Center on Sunday morning, police said.The robbery occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. at the store on the 9301 block of Tampa Avenue. Video on social media shows at least two men wearing hoodies and face masks scooping boxes of packaged luxury perfume bottles, including Giorgio Armani, into black trash bags. Shards of broken glass are seen under display cases.Based on witness accounts, police are searching for five to six males who fled in a black Infinity without a license plate. The thieves reportedly used hammers and bodily force to commit the robbery, said Los Angeles Police Public Information Officer Tony Im.
