Highlands Ranch native Mallory Pugh had to be carted off in the first half with an apparent left knee injury during Saturday’s United States Women’s National Team game against Ireland in Austin, Texas.The injury came late in the first half after she collided with Irish defender Aoife Mannon, and immediately grabbed her left knee, according to The Athletic’s Meg Linehan.Per Linehan, Swanson, a striker who has been in phenomenal form on the U.S. team, was placed into a medical cart and was driven off. Federal officials have charged owners of a Burlingame apartment building with discriminating against a family with two young children.The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development this week announced it is bringing charges against Melinda Teruel and the Melinda Bautista Teruel 1992 Revocable Trust for violating fair housing law by allegedly pressuring the family to rent a larger unit in the complex.The couple started renting a one-bedroom unit in the complex in 2017 while expecting their first child. At least one person was shot Saturday in an incident in San Jose, police said.Officers responding to a location south of Interstate 280 and east of Hwy. 87 found a gunshot victim, according to the San Jose Police Department. (KRON) -- One person is injured after a shooting Saturday afternoon, the San Jose Police Department announced on Twitter. The shooting happened around 12:37 p.m. near Keyes Street and S 3rd Street.Police said there has been at least one victim in the shooting.
