Police identify man they say opened fire at a Walmart near Dayton, Ohio, injuring 4 before fatally turning the gun on himself (CNN) — The man who walked into a Walmart in Ohio Monday night and shot four people before taking his own life has been identified by police as a 20-year-old Dayton resident.Benjamin Charles Jones entered the store in Beavercreek, about 10 miles east of Dayton, around 8:35 p.m., said Capt. Chad Lindsey, acting Beavercreek Police Department chief, during a Tuesday news conference.Witnesses saw Jones holding a rifle that police identified as a Hi-Point .45 caliber carbine long gun, which is a semi-automatic rifle, Lindsey said. The Higher Regional Court in Naumburg, in the eastern German state of Saxony-Anhalt announced the 21-year-old suspect’s extradition, according to German news agency dpa.The suspect, Filippo Turetta, was arrested on the weekend near the eastern city of Leipzig and is currently in custody in Halle.The court said Turetta agreed to the extradition.
