DENVER (KDVR) — At 30 years old, Angelo Duran found himself fighting for his life after being shot four times. He was shot trying to stop a teen from carrying a gun onto a school campus in southwest Denver.Back in October, Duran was picking up his fourth-grade son from Rocky Mountain Prep Southwest, near West Kentucky Avenue and South Federal Boulevard. Duran said he saw the teen, who appeared to be going after another student near the school. DENVER (KDVR) -- The Douglas County Sheriff's Office arrested three suspected car thieves in 24 hours between Sunday and Monday, according to a release.The first arrest came just after midnight Sunday morning when patrol deputies were alerted about a license plate that had ben stolen off a truck two weeks ago.The vehicle was found parked in the lot of an apartment complex near South Inverness Parkway and South Valley Highway. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Denver.
