JOLIET, Ill. — A man was found dead Thursday in the Des Plaines River in Joliet, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.Jason Bingham, 24, of Joliet, died around 4:15 p.m. after he was pulled to the shore by the Joliet Fire Department. NILES, Ill. — Two cases of Legionnaires' disease have been linked to a LA Fitness in Niles.On May 5, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) began an investigation. The department said both individuals used the pool, steam room, hot tub and showers during the last few weeks of April.After they were notified, LA Fitness closed their pool, spa, showers and steam room.An environmental investigation was conducted and on Tuesday, results confirmed Legionella pnemophila S2-14 was detected in samples collected from the facility’s hot tub. Minnesota will soon have a tax-funded, state-administered paid family and medical leave program for workers.The Minnesota Senate on Thursday approved the final version of a bill to create a state program that would offer 12 weeks of family leave and 12 weeks of medical leave with a 20-week annual cap. CHESTERFIELD, Mo. - The Chesterfield Police Department is actively investigating a road rage incident that sent a 73-year-old man to the hospital with "unsurvivable" injuries.A 73-year-old man was involved in an altercation with another man shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dierberg's Four Seasons parking lot in Chesterfield."I just noticed there were police cars by Dierbergs,” said Mehdi Rouhani.
