A woman was arrested Tuesday morning after police suspect she stabbed her husband to death in their Brentwood home.The woman, whose name has not been released, was taken into custody after officers responded to the house at about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday for a welfare check, according to the Brentwood Police Department. That’s when police found the woman inside with her husband, who had been stabbed several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.The killing happened at the couple’s home on the 300 block of MacArthur Way, about a block from Palmilla Park.The name of the woman’s husband has not been released, pending notification of next of kin. The shooting occurred just after 3 p.m. Brentwood woman arrested in fatal stabbing of husband The Oakland PD Communications Division received reports of a shooting. Officers arrived on the scene and found evidence that a shooting had occurred. (BCN) -- A tree fell and high voltage wires are down in the area of Waller and Fillmore streets in San Francisco, the fire department said Monday at 3:35 p.m. People are asked to avoid the area for safety while fire crews work. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A 25-year-old Daly City man was arrested on homicide charges in connection to a double stabbing in San Francisco. Two men were attacked Sunday at 3:51 a.m. on Mission Street and 24th Street. Both victims were still alive when they were found by San Francisco Police Department officers and rushed to a hospital.The 42-year-old victim later died from stab wounds, police said. The second victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. SFPD detectives identified the homicide suspect as Jose Hernandez. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A dog that slid down a cliff at Fort Funston in San Francisco was successfully rescued Tuesday, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. The dog was rescued by the SFFD Coastal Rescue team and is OK, the department said. GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — A Colorado police officer on trial for putting a handcuffed woman in a parked police vehicle that was hit by a freight train testified Tuesday that she did not realize the officer who had arrived before her had parked it on the tracks. After racing to the scene, Officer Jordan Steinke said, she quickly parked her patrol vehicle behind the other one and got out because it was the quickest way “to get a gun in the fight” — hers. She explained that she was suprised the other officer was still sitting in his vehicle. Steinke also said she did not notice the tracks or the ground when she squatted down to arrest a kneeling Yareni Rios-Gonzalez after the suspect was ordered out of her pickup truck.
