(WCIA) -- Illinois is one step closer to becoming the first state to regulate child social media influencers.The Senate passed a proposal to create trust accounts for children influencers if their parents have monetized content featuring them. NEW YORK (WPIX) – Top brass at the NYPD issued a memo on Thursday instructing all officers to wear their uniforms and prepare for mobilization following the Manhattan grand jury indictment of former President Donald Trump.The internal NYPD memo, obtained by Nexstar's WPIX, stated that officers of all ranks should perform their duties in uniform and be prepared for mobilization beginning Friday morning. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Thursday called for calm heads to prevail after the Manhattan District Attorney's office indicted former President Trump in relation to hush money payments made to an adult film actress Stormy Daniels during his 2016 campaign. "Mr. Trump is subject to the same laws as every American. He will be able to avail himself of the legal system and a jury, not politics, to determine his fate according to the facts and the law," Schumer said in a statement on Thursday night. "There should be no outside political influence, intimidation or interference in the case.," Schumer continued. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Albany Medical Center provided an update after a Code Silver was declared on Monday. This comes after a Colonie man barricaded in his 97-year-old mother's room with a weapon.Police said Dino Savoca, 61, brought a BB gun and a shotgun to his mother's hospital room. A Code Silver was issued, which is used when there is a potentially armed assailant in the hospital.
