BENTON, Ill. -- Two stars of The Real Housewives of New York City are in a new reality TV show set in Benton, Illinois. Bravo says that Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan are in a new series called Welcome to Crappie Lake.Lesseps and Morgan will be working with the mayor and city council to revitalize the town of around 7,000 people that was "devastated by the pandemic." Bravo says that they will be catching crappie in Rend Lake with their bare hands and going mudding in monster trucks. They also drop in at bars and attend the local Testicle Festival. LOUIS, Ill. - A Marissa, Illinois, man appeared in federal court on Wednesday to be arraigned for possession of a homemade bomb.Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois said Jim Lanier, 49, made a pipe bomb with the intent of blowing up his wife's vehicle on April 29, and then later admitted to lighting the bomb and throwing it at people who confronted him. MILLER COUNTY, Mo. - A Belleville man died Tuesday afternoon in a motorcycle crash along a rural Missouri highway. The Missouri State Highway Patrol has reports that James Gillispie, 76, died in the crash. A 68-year-old woman riding on the motorcycle was also hurt in the crash.The collision happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday on Missouri Route 42 near Castle Road. Who is Sai Kandula? The place was packed — their no-longer-college-age fanbase seemingly not put off by the $100+ ticket price. And the sense of anticipation in the air prior to showtime was tangible.The band was sensitive to their aging fans too; there was no opening act, the Hoodoos went on stage at 8:15 and were done at 10 p.m. With work in the morning, being in bed by 11 was welcome on a Tuesday.
