Pipe bomb found at home where 2 accused of making explosives: police (KDVR) — A pipe bomb was found outside a home that's been the site of repeat explosions and admitted bomb-making activity, according to the Englewood Police Department.Officers were dispatched around 1:40 p.m. Monday to the home at 4945 S. Delaware St. A resident of the home found what looked like a pipe bomb outside near an air conditioning unit, Englewood Police said in a release. How a dog was rescued from a 14,000-foot Colorado mountaintop The Arapahoe County Sheriff's bomb squad responded, found "the pipe bomb was a viable explosive device and were able to render the device safe," police said. State police investigating after fire breaks out on porch in Chelsea Firefighters responded in Chelsea Monday after a fire broke out on a porch, officials said. The incident happened in a building off Garfield Avenue. Video later showed plumes of smoke filling the sky as flames spread along the porch. Officials said fire investigators were looking into fireworks as a possible cause Monday night after neighbors told firefighters there had been people setting off fireworks across the street. The fire did not spread off the porch into an adjoining apartment and no one was hurt, officials said. An investigation by the Massachusetts State Police was ongoing as of Monday night.
