If Sean Payton felt the need to apologize to quarterback Russell Wilson for laying into him during the second half of Saturday night’s blowout loss at Detroit, he isn’t saying so publicly. The Broncos head coach on Monday reiterated his stance on the matter when asked if he felt the need to address the moment, captured and replayed on NFL Network’s broadcast of the game, with Wilson or the team.“Not at all,” Payton said. “First off, we haven’t had a team meeting. ‘Russ’ and I have a great relationship. No, not at all.”In the aftermath of the 42-17 loss, that moment of Payton wheeling from chewing out the officiating crew after a fourth-and-1 offensive offside call on Quinn Meinerz that wiped a touchdown off the board to chewing out Wilson, standing stoically on the sideline next to quarterback coach Davis Webb, became the story of the game.Payton on Saturday said his conversations with Wilson are, “none of your business.” On Monday, he didn’t shed much more light.“Nothing more to sha...Broomfield Police arrest man in woman’s murder

Sean Payton said Monday that he still expects tight end Greg Dulcich to play at some point in the final three weeks of the regular season. The Broncos head coach said Dulcich’s absence from practice last Thursday and Saturday’s loss at the Detroit Lions was unrelated to a hamstring injury that led to two stints on injured reserve. The second-year tight end was dealing with swelling and soreness in his foot after he was a full participant at Wednesday’s practice — his first day back from the IR.“I’m anxious to see how he does this week,” Payton said. With the Broncos needing to win out to have a good chance at the postseason, it’s essential that Denver gets Dulcich on the field for this final stretch. In his absence, the Broncos have struggled to generate production from tight ends Lucas Krull, Adam Trautman, Chris Manhertz and Nate Adkins. The eyes of the world remain fixated on Gaza. But true vision requires looking beyond the here and now, ensuring that the horror of the present day won’t be repeated. Assuming Israel succeeds in freeing its innocent hostages and neutralizing Hamas terrorists, what then, asks Rabbi Dr Benji Levy? The immediate concern will undoubtedly be repairing the physical and material devastation. New homes, roads and infrastructure will be among the first items on the post-war agenda.Yet, the building blocks of Gaza’s collective future will depend not just on the bricks and mortars of communal buildings but the social fabric of a viable future. While Gaza’s material welfare has been devastated in a matter of weeks, much of its moral and ethical wellbeing was abducted by Hamas decades ago.In his seminal work, “Imagined Communities,” political scientist Benedict Anderson dissected how nations develop a sense of identity.
