The Bombers needed every bit of Severino’s performance as their bats continue to lay dormant in the absence of Aaron Judge. The only offense came off the bat of Billy McKinney who blasted a solo homer in the bottom of the fourth. The outfielder has been one of the very few contributors at the dish during the Yanks’ recent struggles. The left-handed hitter is slashing .320/.346/.660 with four homers in 15 games played this season. The rest of the Bombers’ lineup combined for just three hits, all singles by Giancarlo Stanton, Harrison Bader and Anthony Rizzo.Aaron Boone’s bullpen was test...Latest news
