FOXBORO — There’s no such thing as a moral victory in the NFL, or at least there’s no column for it in the standings, but wide receiver Kendrick Bourne was encouraged by the Patriots’ performance after their 25-20 loss to the Eagles in Week 1.Facing a 16-0 deficit early in the game, the Patriots did bounce back against the reigning NFC champions even if ultimately it was not enough in the end.“We definitely feel like we can play with any team,” Bourne said. “Just keep improving every day, not feeling like we arrived. Just playing our game, playing within the scheme and just making the plays when they come. I think that will make us better.”Related ArticlesNew England Patriots | Lies, damned lies, and statistics: What to make of Pats after 1 game New England Patriots | Patriots offensive line not a complete disaster, but not enough in Week 1 loss to Eagles New England Patriots | Patriots rebound from early mistakes but fall...Callahan: Tom Brady’s return a reminder of Patriots’ fast-fading glory
