While Missourians continue to cross state lines to place a sports bet, the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs are done placing wagers on the general assembly. LOUIS – You may want to think twice about the cleaning supplies you use in your home.A new study from the nonprofit, non-partisan Environmental Working Group found unsettling details about the potential health risks of common household cleaning products.“What chemicals are being emitted from cleaning products into our air that may be impacting our health and if there is an easy way for consumers to find products that led to lower volatile organic chemicals or VOC exposures, into our air,” senior scientist David Andrews said.The study analyzed 30 cleaning products, both conventional and green, including multipurpose and glass cleaners, air fresheners, and more. A woman whose purse and credit cards were stolen in a matter of moments believes she is the latest victim of a distraction theft in Southern California.The theft trend targets unsuspecting shoppers where thieves may engage the victim in conversation while another accomplice quickly and discreetly takes their personal items.Cheryl Armstrong believes she was recently targeted while grocery shopping at a Ralph’s supermarket in Anaheim Hills.Armstrong said the first thing she does when unloading groceries into her car is to place her purse on the front passenger seat before closing the door.But before she could enter the driver’s side of her car, suddenly a man interrupted her.“As I was starting to walk to put my cart in the corral, a man who was up there, towards the market, he said, ‘Lady! Security video captured the moment a thief ransacked a shop in Chinatown before brutally attacking an elderly woman inside.The robbery happened on Thursday at Angies Boutique on the 800 block of North Broadway around noontime. The shop owner said the man, who was captured on surveillance camera, had come into the store a day earlier to purchase items and scope out the place.As the suspect entered the shop on Thursday, he began quickly taking items from behind store counters as an older woman tried to stop him.As she tries to physically stop him, he shoves her to the ground.
