(KDVR) — Colorado State Patrol released multiple videos showing what happened when a man tried to evade law enforcement, stole a trooper's cruiser and ultimately died in a crash.This all played out on June 20 in Otero County, east of Pueblo. The suspect reportedly caused multiple crashes along U.S. 50, according to CSP. This started as a call of reported gunfire. Officers also removed a gun from Sanchez. Next, the video shows when they place him in the back of a CSP patrol car. DENVER (KDVR) -- A $2,000 reward for information is being offered after a horse was found dead, tied to a utility pole in northeast Denver near the edge of the city and county line.The horse was found on June 23 about a mile east of Denver International Airport, near the intersection of Hudson Road and East 72nd Avenue, according to Denver Animal Protection.The horse, a gelding, was brown and white in color, animal protection said. It had a stripe of white hair running from its forehead to its nose. DENVER (KDVR) — The mother of a hit-and-run victim said she's not shocked to learn Colorado roads are so deadly for travelers on foot and on bikes.State transportation officials said Wednesday that more pedestrians than ever are dying in Colorado car crashes. Marcus Tapia, 29, was one of those people.“He got hit at the crosswalk of 74th and Federal, and the car just continued to drive with him connected to the vehicle," mother Alicia Schinke said. A homeowner in Franklin is counting their blessings after their family managed to escape injury when a crane collapsed onto their house on Wednesday.One of the homeowners was at home with her kids on Michelle Way when the crane fell. The other said he was at work,“I was at work, so it was very emotional as a father and a dad,” the homeowner said. “‘Is my family okay?’ because none of this matters. This is what matters.”The Franklin Fire Department shared an update around 3:10 p.m., showing a photo of the crane with its arm resting on top of the home. Part of nearby Bent Street was blocked at the time, according to the fire department. A former day care worker appeared in court Wednesday in connection with a child pornography case, officials said. Lindsay Groves, 38, of Hudson, New Hampshire. is accused of taking nude pictures of children at the Creative Minds Early Learning Centers daycare in Tyngsboro, where she was an employee. Parents were crying and shouting after seeing Lindsay Groves appear in federal court in Boston.“I hope she gets the maximum, and I hope that every kid gets the justice that is deserved,” said Rosemary Denommee, whose daughter went to the day care. “As a concerned parent, we just all hope that she is just taken down.”From May 2022 to June of this year, the US Attorney’s Office said Groves allegedly took nude pictures of children during routine diaper changes and bathroom breaks and sent the photos to someone she was previously in an intimate relationship with.
